Volunteering in the community

The Council thinks that we should give an opportunity for other members to offer their services and, perhaps take a more active part in the life of the community.

Below is a list of important functions that you may like to help with:-

Chapel duties –

• Meet and greet arrivals
• Acolyte
• Altar server
• Sacristan
• Preparation of Chapel for Mass
• Service introduction
• Reading at Mass
• Flower arranging
• Organist
• Playing recorded music

Hall duties –

• Coffee service
• Bake the occasional cake
• Clear away after Mass

Other duties, liaising with Council –

• Organise walks/socials
• Organise discussions/prayers
• Visit the sick
• Offer venue for functions
